Snowmass Summer Strucutures

Snowmass Mountain, Colorado

Nestled among the trees surrounding Aspen Skiing Company’s Elk Camp base on Snowmass Mountain is the "Lost Forest Follies." This distinctive on-mountain experience offers an alpine coaster, a treetop zipline tour, a challenge course, and an expanded trail system.

Supporting these activities are several thoughtfully designed structures: Sliders Cabin, The Alpine Coaster Station, and a small emergency shelter.

Sliders Cabin features a metal bar grate deck and includes a kitchenette, a small office, and restrooms.

The Alpine Coaster Station serves as the operational hub for the alpine coaster, with approximately 730 square feet of basement storage, 750 square feet of cart storage and maintenance space, and a raised loading and unloading platform of about 1,300 square feet on the main level.

Lastly, the emergency shelter is a three-sided structure, approximately 200 square feet. It includes sliding barn doors on one side, a built-in bench along the back wall, and firewood storage beneath.

These structures enhance the Lost Forest Follies experience, combining functionality with the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.
