Arath comes to ESD with over 19 years of comprehensive experience in structural engineering. Before arriving in the Roaring Fork Valley, he spent time in California, where he led the structural design of over 120 seismic retrofits for multi-family structures across the Greater Los Angeles area. Among his many career accomplishments, he managed the fabrication and assembly of Amazon’s Biodome Headquarters glazing shell. He has designed shoring systems and retrofits for many projects including the Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis House (Los Angeles landmark), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, & UCLA Nano Systems Building. He is committed to advancing the design and building process, enhancing community structures, and fostering sustainable design practices within & around the Western Slope.

Arath is a Professional Licensed Engineer in California. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is a member of SEAC (Structural Engineers Association of Colorado).
