Ketut Siladarmawan - Design Engineer I
Ketut started his career in 1998 in a partnership with his wife as a design engineer, drafting and building multi-story residential houses in Surabaya using concrete frame structures. He worked on government contracts as a field supervisor remodeling a number of elementary schools as a safety net project during the Indonesia economic crisis in 1999. In 2000, he worked remotely as a general fabricator with a steel detailing team leader and became the company representative for Myers & Company Architectural Metals in Basalt, CO. His biggest accomplishment is the Obermeyer building in Aspen where he worked with a team of six detailers and four checkers using 18,000 tons of structural and ornamental steel which was installed in less than a year. In 2006, Ketut moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and continued to work with Myers on various steel fabrication projects for Aspen residences, ski resort buildings, schools, fire departments, and banks. He also worked on historic building revitalization projects with Pattillo Associates Engineers. In 2018-2020, he helped manage the company detailing department with Myers & Co. Now he has joined the Evolve Structural Design team to grow as a structural engineer.
Ketut was born and raised in a small town called Singaraja on the northern side of Bali Island. He loves raising his family in this beautiful mountain environment with clean air and water, lots of sports and mountain activities. His purpose in life is to help others both in the United States and Indonesia to have better lives.
