Starwood Fire Station

Aspen, Colorado

This new 4.300 s.f. fire sub-station sits nestled in the Starwood neighborhood near Aspen, Colorado. It features 2 apartment units, a 2-car garage, and a fire station apparatus bay.

The superstructure includes 2X wall framing, conventional wood-framed roofs, & conventional wood-framed floors. The Foundation structure is typical concrete wall & spread footing system and concrete slab on grade.

This project was completed in 2019 together with Charles Cunniffe Architects and GF Woods Construction

This facility received a Satellite Bronze award in the 2023 Firehouse Station Design Awards.
